“At Just Little Kidz, we celebrate not only the service’s cultural diversity but the different backgrounds in the wider community,” owner Oriana Ricci said.
“We explore the different cultures that come together in our country and many things they bring with them – different foods, ways of dressing, languages, celebrations, customs and beliefs.
“Harmony Week is about celebrating these differences, embracing new cultures and making sure that everyone feels included.
“At our centre, we create this understanding that all families have their own traditions, beliefs and cultures through learning different songs, sharing food from around the world, exploring literature that introduce us to other people and places, displays of children from around the world and playing group games from around the world.
“This encourages us all to treat others with respect and dignity, regardless of where we come from or what we believe.”
