Just go with your instinct, reach out

WHEN might someone need to be asked R U OK?

When they’re experiencing relationship difficulties or a relationship breakdown, financial difficulties or going through a period of change at work.
They may be experiencing the loss of someone or something they care about or had a major health issue.
When you notice a change, no matter how small, in what they’re saying or doing, go with your gut instinct and reach out.
How can you make a moment meaningful?
It’s important we all stay connected. Meaningful moments talking about life’s ups and downs are more likely to happen when we’re spending quality time together.
Some moments when you might be able to talk include on breaks from study or work, when exercising together or doing activities together online, sharing a meal or spending time together socially.
Even taking a short trip together, can be a good time to talk and listen.
Encourage others to ask too by downloading the practical toolkit at ruok.org.au and sharing the message in your community.
