Squad coach Alison Johnston praised the efforts of the young swimmers.
“These are fantastic results for our swimmers, especially with the impact Covid-19 has had on our activities,” she said.
“It is a great reward for their hard work at our training sessions, our club races and swim meets over the past summer.”
Club President Graham Edwards said swimming was one of the most popular sports for Active Kids voucher redemption last season – number one for females and second for males across the Cumberland LGA.
“Our club started in 1968, the same year that the Merrylands Swimming Centre opened, and we have a very diverse membership across age, gender and cultural backgrounds reflecting the local community,” he said.
“Swimming is an important part of the Australian sporting and leisure landscape and our club offers a range of swimming activities including club races, and squad training as well as the popular Learn to Swim.”
