All you have to do to take part in the fun, physical challenge is to commit to doing star jumps every day during Youth Week, April 16-24; how many you do is totally up to you.
Auburn PCYC manager Hayden Paterick said the new program being rolled out would help young people build resilience skills.
“On a daily basis all around NSW, PCYC sees young people experiencing anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges,” he said.
“That’s why we’re taking part and need your help.”
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a fundraising page and access to Star Jump Challenge resources. You’ll choose the number of star jumps you’ll do each day during Youth Week, while spreading the word to friends and family.
Fundraising is open from the time you join and early fundraisers will have the chance to win prizes.
Some of the prizes include: The first 100 people to raise $200 and provide their address will win a limited edition Star Jump Challenge cap; raise $500 to go into the draw to win one of 50 $20 Rebel Gift Vouchers; raise $1,000 to go into the draw to win a Garmin Fenix 5 GPS Watch; and raise $5,000 to go into the draw to win a Schwinn Airdyne AD8 Bike.
