James raises nearly $13,000

PICNIC Point resident and Endeavour Sports High School Principal James Kozlowski completed the SMH Half Marathon on Sunday in just one hour and 48 minutes, raising $12,784 for Cure4 Cystic Fibrosis.

James took on the challenging run and fundraising as a way to help his niece Aveline who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at just six weeks old.
“With one baby born with Cystic Fibrosis every four days, we’re fighting for the funds needed to continue supporting promising areas of medical research – research that addresses the cause and prevention of Cystic Fibrosis, as well as research that supports treatments for improved wellbeing and extension of life,” he said.
With fundraising still open, if you can help by making a donation, head to James’ fundraising page: https://smhhalfmarathon2019.everydayhero.com/au/running-for-aveline-to-cure-cystic-fibrosis.
