Jam-packed program of events to enjoy during NSW Seniors Festival this month

SENIORS are being encouraged to ‘reach beyond’ with a jam-packed program to celebrate the NSW Seniors Festival this month.

Locals aged 55 years and over can take part in more than 50 exciting events and activities running until March 28.
The program caters for the diverse needs and interests of seniors, including bus trips to Berry and The Entrance, learn to line dance workshops, jolly jigsaw afternoons and so much more.
The popular Canterbury Bankstown Seniors Concert will be back at Bankstown Sports Club on Thursday, March 21, with Back to Tivoli, an upbeat line-up of entertainment.
There is also a range of activities available to help keep seniors healthy and active, including golf
days, pickleball, laughter yoga and dance fit sessions, while some exciting new offerings include fishing and sustainable jewellery.
Informative workshops by Seniors Rights Service will also be available to offer tips on keeping safe,
planning ahead and managing finances, along with sessions by Services NSW to navigate the
Savings Finder website.
Tickets for the bus trips are on sale at Campsie and Bankstown Customer Service Centres and
concert tickets are on sale at Bankstown Sports Club.
See the full programs at cb.city/SeniorsFestival or pick up a booklet from any of the council’s Customer Service Centres, Library and Knowledge Centres or Leisure and Aquatic Centres.
