Jam-packed festival program on

CITY of Canterbury Bankstown is encouraging local seniors to ‘reach beyond’ as it hosts a jam-packed program to celebrate the NSW Seniors Festival this month.

Mayor Bilal El-Hayek says the festival is the largest gathering of seniors in this city and an important opportunity to celebrate their contributions.
“As this year’s theme ‘reach beyond’ points out, I encourage all seniors in our City to get out of their comfort zones and try something new,” he said.
“We have some exciting new offerings this year including fishing, sustainable jewellery making and new locations for our bus trips.
“Take advantage of the many wonderful activities, have fun and meet new people.”
