The events leading up to his win, included running on rocky gravels, grass, concrete and sand.
Trinity Sports Co ordinator Vanessa Penipani says the very capable athlete is also officially third best in all of Australia after coming first in the recent open U12 championships in Tasmania.
“Later this month, he will compete in the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges Championship and if he comes first, will then go on to represent the State in the national All Schools Cross Country Championships,” she said.
“The school is extremely proud of his determination, hard work and success.”
Isaac fastest in all Sydney, third in nation
HE only discovered his talent for running last year by accident but now Trinity Catholic College Auburn student Isaac Zreika is the fastest runner in the metropolitan region after coming first in the Sydney Catholic Schools Cross Country Championships.
