Invite to help stretch our Little Wings in City2Surf

YOU’RE invited to jump on board this year’s City2Surf in August decked out in an ‘aeroplane suit’ along with Little Wings CEO Clare Pearson, Little Wings Marketing Manager Andrew Bailey, Little Wings COO Lucy Timms and volunteer pilot Wayne Cotterill.

WHY run when you can fly?
It’s time to warm up, jump aboard and take to the street for this year’s City2Surf in August and all in the name of raising funds for Little Wings.
A charitable, volunteer-led organisation, Little Wings provides free ground and air transportation for children in regional NSW with chronic and serious illnesses to access specialised medical services and treatment in Sydney hospitals.
Little Wings CEO Clare Pearson has invited residents to register to run with her and other volunteers to raise funds and see their support soar for families from the bush.
“Over the past 12 months, Little Wings has experienced a 110 per cent increase in service demand, meaning a 50 per cent increase in funding and volunteers required to help keep us in the air and on the ground every single day,” she said.
“So raising funds through taking part in the City2Surf would be a wonderful, needed boost to our charity’s operations.”
It costs $80 to register but anyone who raises $1,200 will receive a fun, aeroplane suit to wear on the day and take home to gift a child or keep as a memento.
Register to run or walk with Little Wings along the epic 14-km route on Sunday, August 13, by emailing info@littlewings.org.au.
