Invite families to free Back to Guildford fest

FAMILIES can enjoy live music, roving performances, great food and children’s activities during the free Back to Guildford Festival this Saturday.

As part of the Safer Cities: Her Way Program designed to boost safety elements and amenities for women and girls, the council is staging the event to showcase the recent upgrades to Guildford Laneway.
You can explore the new public art mural and improvements including tables and benches, smart technology installations, lighting, CCTV camera and mobile phone charging stations as well as a huge range of eateries, food and market vendors and arts and crafts.
A feature of the upgrade is the stunning mural in Guildford Laneway by Sophi Odling.
Getting underway from 3-9pm, the program will feature performances by Mojo Paua, Anton Aktila, Kiss the Frog, Abbey Gardner and JT33 duo plus a plethora of mouthwatering delights from Senor Toro, Trinhy’s Vietnamese, Juicy Burger, Turkish Gozleme House, Mr Kernal Chips on a Stick, Dessert Dealer, Desi Dessert, Somsom Candy and Coffee & Snow Cone to Go.
