International comics to drop in to pub party just for laugh

AUSSIES all love a laugh and with that in mind, leading international comedians are converging on The Locker Room Hotel at Sydney Olympic Park for one night only later this month.

Headed up by UK Comedian Christian Elderfield who runs The Last Laugh stand up comedy nights, the comedians include Al Del Bene – “I love my wife, she is my rock … and my hard place”; Fady Kassab – “I believe comedy is about pushing boundaries, yeah? If that’s true, I think Israel is hilarious”; Umit Bali – “I work at a video game arcade. My job is to give out the coins. They call me the ‘token’ black guy”; and Julia Wilson – “I’m a Tom Boy who grew into a Tom Man”.
Elderfield says when he first got to Australia he wanted to be a beach lifeguard: ”Then I thought ‘how British is that? I’ve just seen a piece of land I like and I want to put a flag in it.”
Promising to leave you in stitches, The Locker Room Comedy Night is on offer on Thursday, March 24, from 2pm.
For $25 a ticket, you’ll be treated to a complimentary drink on arrival and two hours of fun on level one.
