Inaugural Autism Awareness Fun Day

RAIN, hail or shine the Kids Clinic will be hosting its inaugural Autism Awareness Fun Day at Entertainment Park on Milperra Road in Bankstown from 10am-2pm on Saturday, March 27.

Kids Clinic manager, Abi Issa, said the event had been seven years in the making and called on the community to join them at the event.
“It’s a day to raise awareness about young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, promote community acceptance and support to those who have special needs, along with their families,” she said.
“At Kids Clinic, we believe in ‘Ability over Disability’ and we are very proud of our community initiative.
“We aim to raise awareness and social acceptance as well as hopefully raising funds to better support struggling families with children who have been diagnosed with special needs.”
