Hunt to fill public transport jobs rolling in

A CAREER in public transport may be just the ticket for eager job seekers, with Transdev looking to fill up to 60 vacancies across its Sydney bus business.

Transdev NSW Managing Director Robert Macey said there were significant opportunities available with the company looking to fill driver, tradesperson and operations roles.
“Regardless of your skills and experience, there is a range of jobs available to suit everybody,” Mr Macey said.
“In addition to competitive rates and guaranteed hours, we offer on-the-job training and can help people get the skills they need to succeed.
“New applicants only need a driver’s licence, as through our car-to-bus upgrade program will train them so they are confident driving a bus.”
In addition to Bus Drivers, Transdev is looking for qualified panel beaters, mechanics, auto-electricians, and people to work in scheduling, logistics and operations.
“Public transport is a people business and the work has a strong connection to the local community. We see ourselves as a community of people serving our community,” Mr Macey added.
