Hunt for men after attack

THE hunt is on for four men after another was bashed on a Guildford street.

Detectives have released CCTV footage as they continue to investigate the assault about 2.40pm on Sunday, August 13.
A 46-year-old man was driving along Robertson Street, Guildford, when a silver BMW i20 sedan reportedly rammed the back of his vehicle.
The man stopped his car a short distance down the road, and when he got out of his car and approached two men who exited the silver BMW, he was kicked and punched by the two unknown men, before he fell to the ground, and the assault continued before they stole his mobile phone.
An additional two people exited another vehicle – a black Honda Accord – which had parked a short distance away, before all four men ran back to their cars and drove from the scene.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics for facial injuries, before being taken to hospital for further treatment. He has since been discharged.
Cumberland detectives have released CCTV footage depicting two vehicles and four people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
All four men were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
