Hunt for Heritage U15 side

TRADITIONALLY offered to Under 15s as their entered their ‘gateway year to adulthood’, Bankstown Bulls Junior Rugby League Football Club is on the hunt for boys to join their Super 15 Heritage teams this year.

If you were born in 2006, you can be part of the side and enjoy a training camp on the water, get a free sports bag, hoodie, heritage jersey, training shirt and more.
Club secretary Hussein Dia said the jerseys would arrive in April ahead of the 14-round season in May.
If Covid restrictions permit, for the first time this year senior and girls teams will also be hosted at a camp usually on the South Coast or at the Academy of Sport in Narrabeen.
“The camp gives players such a valuable bonding experience that they become a force to be reckoned with on the field,” he said.
Last year’s heritage side won their grand final, with the club keen to field a second squad this year.
“It’s an ideal opportunity for a boy who has always wanted to give rugby league a try or who hasn’t played for two to three years,” Hussein said.
The club is also focused on offering great opportunities to those from age five to 12s, 13s, 16s,18s, A-grade and female players who will this year be invited to a fully-paid introduction dinner upon registering.
“With the females in mind, we are almost finished renovating our clubhouse which will include female change rooms and facilities, new showers, a hot tub, ice bath for rehab and massage beds,” Hussein added.
