Hundreds have ball at football club’s 60th party

HUNDREDS of Revesby Workers Football Club members have had a ball at the 60th anniversary family fun day celebrations at the Marco Avenue playing fields.

The club celebrated by hosting games from 6s and finished off with the Men’s Premier League match, with inflatables, rock climbing, face painting, popcorn and plenty more family fun activities featuring on the day.
Revesby Workers FC President Dan Kurtz said all members received a special gift from the club to help celebrate 60 years of football in Revesby.
“The day had a stream of visitors including life members, club executives, Revesby Workers’ club directors and Bankstown Football Association directors past and present,” he said.
“Overall a great day of football and family fun.”
Enjoying a great start to the season, the club now boasts over 600 members across 35 teams from under 6s to 45s.
“We field teams in both the Men’s and Women’s Premier League competitions and our female football contingent continues to grow with four senior women’s teams and six girls teams from 6s to 17s,” Kurtz said.
Registrations open soon for the 2024 season.
