How to turn back years

EVER wondered why young people who go out ‘clubbing’ every week, always seem to have lots of energy despite the late nights and never have to worry about their weight?

One of the principals of Allways Rockin’ Dance, Bronwyn, believes she knows the secret.
“Regular dance movements are wonderful for the body, even just a couple of hours every week will do wonders for your energy levels and waistline; it’s vital for all humans to keep firing up the metabolism,” she explained.
Originating in the 1950s, Rock & Roll is a dance style that can be done nice and slowly or wild and fast, depending on the music and your mood.
Bronwyn, along with fellow principals Julie, Clare and Colin who have over 40 years’ dance experience between them, started the Allways Rockin’ Dance school at Club Condell Park and Penshurst RSL about three years ago so they could spread the joy – and health benefits – of dancing.
“We teach all levels of dancers from those with two left feet, to those with dancing experience, in a safe and friendly environment,” Bronwyn said.
“Everyone is welcome to join our classes whether you are single, with friends or as couples and between the ages of about 16 to seniors.
“Rock & Roll dancing is a fun way to exercise, make new friends and enjoy dancing to live bands.
“We have been described as gentle, caring and very patient teachers so call us today to register your interest in joining our classes.”
The new term is now underway; Wednesdays, 6.15-7.30pm, at Club Condell Park and Thursdays at Penshurst RSL, 6.45pm-8pm.
