Favourite family retailer, Best&Less, has announced a new partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation with the aim of bring joy this Christmas.
Through in-store donations during December, customers can get behind the partnership and help create the joy, fun and happiness seriously ill children need to get through the toughest times.
For over 30 years, Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill children, young people, and their families.
Every minute of every day a child is admitted to hospital in Australia. In that moment, they often receive a diagnosis that can change the course of their life and their family’s lives forever. Suddenly, smiles disappear, and life is filled with hospitals, doctors, needles and pain.
Starlight provides hospital services that are integral to the total care of seriously ill children – while health professionals focus on treating the illness, Captain Starlight is there to lift the spirits of the child and deliver a healthy dose of positive distraction.
Best&Less marketing’s Janine Van Deventer says they are thrilled to help make the lives of seriously ill children, a little brighter.
“Family is so important to us as a brand and we want to extend that passion to Starlight, supporting families through some of the toughest moments of their life,” she said.
“We hope to raise $100,000 which will help Starlight grant 15 additional wishes to sick kids and their families.”
