They have an under 12s and under 13s team and are looking to fill a Stage 1 under 9-11s side as well as Woolworths Junior and Master Blasters squads with both boys and girls welcome.
Hornets secretary Jonathon Macdonald says all the players have become good friends and while they are waiting to bat, love nothing better than playing handball on their knees.
“If it’s not handball, they are playing footy or even gridiron at times but there’s always plenty of noise happening off the field which, for me, shows how much they enjoy being together,” he said.
“I’ve dropped into their games a couple of times and you have never seen a bigger spread of cakes and slices brought by all the parents; they love their Saturday mornings together which is what our club prides itself on.”
With the season looking to start on October 30, further info on registering to play can be found at revesby.nsw.cricket.com.au.
