Home under fire

A TODDLER was among four people who escaped injury when a Regents Park home was sprayed with bullets last Saturday night.

About 9.30pm, police were called to a house in Nottinghill Road where they found multiple bullet holes in the house and a vehicle parked on the front lawn, believed to have been fired from a white hatchback.
Auburn acting chief inspector Danielle Emerton said they believed it was a targeted attack.
She said the occupants were known to police but were not assisting them.
A short time later police were called to nearby Smith Street where they located a white hatchback that had been burnt out.
Police are appealing for the public’s assistance, urging anyone with information, including dashcam footage from the area at the time of the shooting, to contact Auburn Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
