The Club Golden Boot Award was presented to Carissa Zajac, the Club Person of the Year was shared by Dione King, Crystal Peatman and Jessica Zaccheo, Team of the Year went to the Women’s Premier League side, Most Valuable Male Player was Grant Groom, Most Valuable Female Player was Paige Hawkins, Life member inductees were Jessica Zaccheo and Mathew Borg, and Louse Horgan won the Code of Conduct Award as well as the Presidents Choice Award.
Club President Danny Rizk said the Presidents Choice Award was one of the highest honours.
“Louise showed tremendous dedication and passion for the jersey she proudly wears,” he said.
“Her commitment to her club and her team mates was simply outstanding and all of this was done in the most humble way possible.”
Danny thanked everyone involved during the season – from the administration team and coaches, to the players and parents.
“Thanks also to our sponsors and referees from the Granville & Districts Football Referees Association,” he said.
“Thanks to everyone involved who makes this the best sport on earth.”
Ladies Division 2, 1 and WPL are all looking for some new additions to complement their strong squads, with all three teams the 2023 champions.
Trials are scheduled for November 19 and 26 and December 3 at Guildford West Sportsground from 4pm.
Rangers are also running U13, U14 and U15 division 1 trials at the grounds on November 19 and 26 from 4pm under Junior Development Coach Matt Borg.
