Specifically tailored to those with no music reading ability, the workshop will provide them with a fun and supportive experience to discover the universal language of music and develop basic skills in music literacy.
The workshop forms part of River City Voices’ ongoing commitment to building a sustainable future for the arts in Western Sydney via broadening horizons closer to home.
River City Voices General Manager Inara Molinari said the workshop would help demystify all the dots and squiggly bits on the page, enabling participants to sing what’s written there.
“Do you love music, love to play and love to sing, but have no idea how to read music? Then this workshop is for you,” she said.
With bookings essential for the Saturday, October 14, workshop ‘Learn to Read Music’ and places limited, tickets ($65) are available at eventbrite.com.au or rivercityvoices.org.au.
