Help identify 12 in bike theft probe

POLICE are appealing for help to identify 12 people they believe can assist with an investigation into multiple bike thefts across Sydney’s transport network.

In May 2024, the Police Transport Command commenced an investigation into unsolved bike thefts reported across the network since early last year.
With some offenders already charged, police are appealing for help to identify several others they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries, including this man (pictured) who was seen at Lidcombe Railway Station about 4.20pm on Thursday, April 18. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance with medium build, wearing a black t-shirt and navy blue shorts.
Anyone with information that may assist investigators, is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
