Help Hub advising families how to best access support with bills

RESIDENTS came together with government agencies and community organisations to find how to best access the practical help they need to reduce their bills, as well as raise issues and concerns regarding cost of living pressures.

Federal MP for Reid, Sally Sitou, and State MP for Auburn, Lynda Voltz, brought cost-of-living assistance directly to the residents with their ‘Cost of Living Help Hub’ at Lidcombe Public School.
Ms Sitou said dealing with cost-of-living pressures was her number one priority, and she wanted to make sure people knew about the help they could get.
“There is government support available for households who might be struggling at the moment, and I want to make sure people in our community know where they can go for help,” she said.
Ms Voltz said there were a lot of governments agencies and community organisations that could help families deal with the cost-of-living challenges we were facing at the moment.
“It is great to see all these organisations coming out to the community to work together,” she said.
