Help families get ‘Back to School’

PARENTS are being urged to access $150 worth of vouchers through the Premier’s Back to School NSW program, with a range of businesses enjoying a steady stream of ‘back to school’ shoppers keen to save money on textbooks, uniforms, stationery and other school essentials.

Bankstown Lowes is the store to head to if in need of generic pants, t-shirts, socks and other clothing items.
“Parents should definitely take advantage of this great opportunity and call into Lowes,” a spokesperson said.
Mr Mobile in Revesby is accepting the vouchers on phone repairs or upgrades while Officeworks Punchbowl has the complete range of school supplies – everything from books, pens, pencils and left-handed scissors to calculators, wallets and much more, with prices slashed already on over 900 school items.
“It’s an opportunity too good for parents to miss out on,” a spokesperson said.
Padstow Newsagency and B2K Newsagency in Campsie also feature a great range of stationery items including folders and even some textbooks.
“We’ve got a bit of everything; parents should come in and check out our range,” a B2K spokesperson said.
Spendless Shoes Campsie have plenty of stock left despite dozens of parents already coming in to stock up on school footwear.
“They can really save a lot of money this way,” a spokesperson said.
Parents can also check out their school’s uniform shop, with most accepting the vouchers.
Premier Dominic Perrottet says summer holidays are a good time for families to start buying supplies for the new school year: “Parents, guardians and carers, including foster carers, can apply for three $50 Back to School Vouchers per child and use them at registered businesses towards items including bags, shoes, textbooks, stationery and lunchboxes.”
