Have say on park future

THERE are only days remaining to have your say about what you like about the pocket parks and neighbourhood parks in your area and where you would like to see improvements.

Inner West Council is developing a plan of management for the parks and would like residents to help them plan their future use.
A council spokesperson says there is an established and well distributed network of neighbourhood and pocket parks, however the ability of the council to expand open space is limited by land supply and budget constraints, therefore it’s focussing on improving the existing network of open spaces.
“This plan sets out key principles and priorities to deliver high quality parks which are welcoming, accessible and enjoyable spaces for community use,” she said.
Everyone who gives feedback will be notified when the draft plan is placed on public exhibition for final community comment.
