Have say on future of Paul Keating Pk

Mayor Khal Asfour says the City of Canterbury Bankstown is in the process of developing a master plan for the park, which will guide its future use over the next 20 years.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to tell the council how they currently use the park and what they would like to see in the future,” he said.

“Community feedback is an essential part of any major plan and we want the foundations of this new document to be built on the opinion, needs and desires of residents.”

Informal drop-in information sessions will be held at Paul Keating Park on Friday, June 21, from 6-8pm.

Residents can also give their insights at a workshop held at Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre, on Monday, June 24, 6-9pm.

“I encourage everyone to come along and get involved so, together, we can plan how the park can continue to be widely used for multiple purposes and be an inclusive space for all,” Mayor Asfour said.

For those who are unable to attend the drop-in information sessions and workshop, there is an online survey which can be found at cb.city/haveyoursay
