CBCC CEO Wally Mehanna says it will be the ideal opportunity to relax in a friendly environment, network, have fun and talk business later.
“Business people need to connect with each other and get to know each other. Everyone needs that sense of belonging and to feel part of a team and then anything can eventuate,” he said.
“We are meeting at Campsie South Bowling Club this team as they are CBCC members and we want to spread the love; in July or August we’ll be meeting at The Acres Club in Greenacre.”
Mr Mehanna said CBCC was looking forward to taking “the energy” to different centres and all in support of their common initiative which was to support local and shop local.
“We need to think more about our own backyard and local economy,” he said.
“Why go further afield when everything you need is right here in Canterbury Bankstown?”
The ‘Barefoot Bowls and Networking’ event will be on Wednesday, April 28, from 4pm at the club at 38 Jarrett Street, Clemton Park, with admittance free to club and CBCC members and $20 for their guests.
Registrations essential at eventbrite.com.au.
