Happy 100th

MAYOR Khal Asfour has paid a visit to Marthe Chasle to wish her Happy 100th Birthday at Beechwood Nursing Home in Revesby. Mrs Chasle arrived in Campsie from Mauritius 50 years ago with her five youngest children to join her brother and two eldest children after the death of her husband. Grandson Shane Merry describes her as ‘queen’ of the family which now extends to 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
