Growth in enrolment and results

BIRRONG Boys’ High School has shown significant growth in a number of key areas including student enrolments and academic achievement.

Attracting students from many neighbouring primary schools from both the Auburn and Bankstown areas, the school’s three largest primary pchool partners include Birrong Public School, Berala Public School and Regents Park Public School, with other schools such as Auburn West, Chester Hill, Bankstown North, Yagoona and Bass Hill significantly contributing to the student body.
Principal Darren Stevens said: “An enhanced transition and a middle year strategy program has had a positive impact on the start to high school for our Year 7 group.
“All members of the Birrong Boys’ High School community work collaboratively to focus on continual growth, with teachers understanding the learning needs of all students and putting into place educational programs that ensure all students achieve their academic potential.”
Mr Stevens is welcoming all families to the school’s Open Evening event which will take place in the school library on Tuesday, March 10, 4-6pm.
