“It’s been wonderful to watch the diversity of the community blossom in Lidcombe; it’s such an interesting and vibrant place to live,” she said.
“So convenient, Lidcombe has all the services and entertainment areas that you could ever need including Woolies, Kmart, the cinema and the station plus more.”
With a Masters degree in early childhood and a passion for ensuring that every child has the opportunity to shine, Ms Viknarasah serves on numerous board and roundtables including as Vice President of the Australian Childcare Alliance, NSW.
One of the oldest long day care centres in NSW, the Lidcombe centre offers a systematic program for the development of public speaking, leadership and performance which are considered vital 21st century skills.
It is also one of the few preschools that has its own early childhood program that links with the NSW primary school syllabus.
“Rated ‘Excellent’ by Munch n Move for our nutrition program, we strive to stimulate children’s bodies, minds and spirits with a nurturing environment, including freshly prepared meals and snacks,” she said.
