The Under 12s boys (pictured) won their grand final which was a huge result against a strong Camden team, with Bullshark Hamza Abdulatif named ‘Player of the Match’.
Youth Girls 14s put in a great effort against Baulkham Hills who proved too strong, while Youth Girls 12s came up against tough opponents in Macarthur Magpies who ran out winners on the day.
Bullsharks president Tim Hall congratulated the three teams.
“Grand finals are hard to win, but it is even harder to make a grand final,” he said.
“To get to the grand final requires a whole season of dedication, training and playing together as a team.
“It take countless volunteer hours from coaches, managers, water carriers, runners, goal umpires and boundary umpires.
“It also takes a huge commitment from parents who drive our kids to training and games each week.”
He said considering the disrupted season that it had been for the competition, and especially for the BullSharks without a home ground for the year, all teams could be extremely proud of their efforts.
“We have managed well throughout and are thrilled that 20 of our young players have been accepted in the Giants Academy,” he said.
