This task allowed students to investigate aspects of business operations theory, using the hypothetical situation of a paper plane business. They also produced a business report evaluating the performance of their team’s plane and use of the operations strategies.
Relieving Principal Lisa Edwards said it was great to see the class applying their course concepts in a practical way and working so efficiently in teams.
“The class is taught by one of our expert HSC teachers Chris Dalton, who was selected as a highly successful HSC teacher to lead the HSC Strategy for HSC Business Studies, supporting Business Studies teachers across NSW to deliver best practice in education,” she said.

GIVING wings to their HSC Business Studies, Bankstown Girls High School students have worked in teams to construct and fly a paper plane using their syllabus theory understanding.
