“Their results reveal that these girls are capable of achieving whatever they set their mind to do in life,” a school spokesperson said.
Repeating the success of Year 12 in 2019, the students’ HSC exam achievements placed the school 200 places above where it was ranked in 2018 and increased the number of Band 6 results across their HSC subjects.
The students completing Human Society and Its Environment courses, Business Studies and Legal Studies did exceptionally well.
The Visual Arts class included the top Band 6 results and were selected for the annual ArtExpress showcase.
“The Bankstown community can take great pride in the success of these girls and we look forward to another great year of HSC success with the cohort of 2021, who are already back at work studying hard,” the spokesperson said.
“Our programs focus on developing both academic and social skills, knowledge and capabilities of all our girls through explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy, technology, higher order thinking and developing strong learning habits within and across all subject areas.“
