Girl wins show ticket in colour-in challenge

WHEN L J Hooker Padstow staff launched their Easter colouring-in competition they had no idea it would be so popular, with 88 stunning entries tumbling in from local children during the lead up to the holiday weekend.

Basing their decision on age, effort and results, staff agreed to award first prize to Chloe Hoskin, 6, who won an all-day family pass to the Royal Easter Show.
Second prize went to Keiichi Shrestha, 5, and third prize went to Lotoa Manesa, 11, who both won large chocolate hampers to take home to their families.
But no one missed out, with the Hooker team handing out participation prizes of Easter egg bags to all other entrants.
One of the agency’s organisers of the competition, Felicia Wong, said it was an incredibly successful initiative and they were thrilled to give something back to the community with many still going through a tough time.
“We have all the entries displayed in the front window of the agency and it’s amazing how many people walking past have been going ‘wow’ and then they stop or come inside for a closer look,” she said.
“We just thought it was a great way to get into the Easter spirit as well as showcase the talents of all of our young local artists.”
