EAST Hills Girls Technology High School continues to excel at providing innovative and quality learning experiences for all students who attend the only girls technology school in NSW, with a new selective technology class launching next year.

As well as being an Apple Distinguished School and a provider of eight technology courses across Stages 5 and 6, the school has a dedicated technology centre and IT faculty.
Complementing the technology courses, it also offers a variety of other STEM courses and extra-curricular opportunities that allow students to complete STEM pathways throughout their learning.
The school is committed to providing a balanced curriculum in technology to enable students to become competent users and creators of technology across all platforms.
The new selective class is in recognition of the growing number of primary schools who are building exceptional technology skills in students in Stages 2 and 3.
It will allow students with talents in a range of technology disciplines to accelerate and enhance their learning.
For Year 7, 2021, the school will enrol one class (30 students), who meet the requirements of technology skills and aptitude through a selective enrolment process.
An information session for parents and students interested in finding out more about this enrolment and the application process, will be held in the school library on Wednesday, February 19, 6-7pm, with all welcome to attend.
