Giants buoyed by win, injured players return

DISMISSING Gold Coast by 72 points on Saturday, the Giants could have several of the team’s injured big guns back on deck in time for the elimination final at Giants Stadium against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday, September 7.

After a fortnight of football they would probably rather forget the 20.7 (127) to 7.13 (55) victory was a morale boost, and in more good news for fans, GWS coach Leon Cameron said Toby Greene, Stephen Coniglio, Jacob Hopper, Brett Deledio and Nick Haynes could all be available in two weeks.
Playing his 150th game, Jeremy Cameron was in dangerous form with a career best haul of nine goals for the match. His tally of 67 goals for the season also gave the Giants forward his first Coleman Medal.
