It’s one of the easiest ways to bring people together to raise funds that will make a big difference to those impacted by cancer. The idea is simple, just get your friends, colleagues or community together over some tea and treats, and help fund Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention, support programs and information.
So get along to either Guildford and Regents Park library this Thursday at 10.30am and join staff and other remembers of the community for a cup of tea, coffee and a sweet treat and help raise money for the Cancer Council. And all it costs you is a little time and gold coin donation.
There’s still time to organise your own fundraiser. Host your morning tea your way: big or small, at work or home, sweet or savoury – every one makes a difference, with the official date Thursday, May 23, but you can pick any date in May or June.
