Get free legal advice at community centre

IS someone demanding you pay them money after a car accident?

Maybe you have a family law, domestic issue or a criminal matter you need advice on?
Whatever your legal requirements are, three services are available to make life easier.
The free Multicultural Legal Service is on offer (9.30am-12.30pm) at Berala Community Centre, every second Wednesday with the next on tomorrow, April 27, Guildford Community Centre on every second Monday with the next on May 9, and Auburn Library every second Tuesday with the next on May 17.
Fronted by solicitors Harry and Caitlyn, the services have access to seven interpreters and are offered through the Western Sydney Community Legal Centre.
Harry said they had supported hundreds since they got underway last year.
“It can be quite overwhelming for anyone when legal issues crop up and we explain everything in easy English and set them on the right path,” he said.
“In some cases, we can help with documentation and even representation; it’s a wonderful feeling when they pop back in to say ‘thanks, you made all the difference’.”
