On offer for all of BDAFA’s small-sided age groups, from six to 11 years, the galas will run from 8am to 12pm and feature a round robin-style tournament with lots of entertainment and fun activities thrown in.
“We are so excited that our Gala Days can recommence after last year’s were cancelled due to Covid,” BDAFA General Manager Leanne Millar said.
Kicking off first will be Grade 6 at Marco Reserve in Marco Avenue, Panania, this Saturday, May 15, with the host club being St Christopher’s FC.
Grade 7 will follow on May 29 at Allum Reserve in Karuah Street, Greenacre, with host Greenacre Eagles FC; Grade 8 on June 12 at Stuart St Reserve, Stuart St, Padstow, with host Padstow Hornets FC; Grade 9 on June 26 at Bankstown Sports Complex, Antwerp St, Bankstown, with host Bankstown Sports Stars; Grade 10 on July 17 at Kelso Reserve, Marco Avenue, Panania, with host Panania Diggers SC; and Grade 11 on July 31 at Jim Ring Reserve, Birrong, with host Birrong Sports FC.

HUNDREDS of upcoming footy stars are expected to converge on local parks and reserves when Bankstown District Amateur Football Association (BDAFA) resumes its Gala Days over the next two months from this weekend.
