Chester Hill’s Norman Alagha, Josh Isaac and Adrian Neoklis, known as SportShedTV, are the organisers and among the social media influencers specialising in sport content who are competing on Saturday, February 25, at Lidcombe Oval.
“We aim to be the home of sport fan TV in Australia,” Norman said.
Inspired by TheSidemen in the UK who have millions of subscribers and staged a charity soccer match attended by 27,000, the trio only got their platforms – Youtube, Instagram and TickTok – underway about 10 months ago but already have 15,000 followers.
Norman said they hoped the fun afternoon would be a great networking event and hoped they could raise loads of funds for the two nominated charities, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Mark Hughes Foundation.
“Team Ronald will be wearing the yellow jerseys and the Mark Hughes team will be wearing blue,” Norman said.
“It’s going to be a huge afternoon of fun for two worthy causes so everyone should get a ticket.”
There will be three games to enjoy – Touch Football at noon, a Disability Rugby League match at 2pm and the main SportShedTV match at 4pm – with a full canteen operating throughout the afternoon.
Tickets, $10, at eventbrite.com.au.
