WITH everything from face painting for children, to Tai Chi demonstrations for seniors and home-made craft and knitwear on sale, residents of all ages turned out to see what was on offer at the Berala Community Centre’s Open Day (pictured) on Thursday.

There was plenty of entertainment on the day, including baby animals from Get Wild, as well as a visit by firefighters from the Lidcombe Fire Station.

The Berala Community Centre hosts a program of both free and affordable activities for residents every week, including exercise and language classes, table tennis, Tai Chi and craft workshops. There is also an immunisation clinic for children aged six weeks to nine years on the fourth Thursday of each month.
