Fuel 99c a litre at Punchbowl servo

ALL types of fuel at Metro Petroleum Punchbowl will be 99c a litre on Tuesday, May 7, from 3pm to 5pm as part of a partnership program with the DCT (Dreams Come True) Club.

Offering the cheapest fuel price in over a decade, the initiative seeks to provide residents with a small slice of cost of living relief.
It will be ongoing and take place at select Metro Petroleum stations across the country in line with the Reserve Bank of Australia interest rate meetings on the first Tuesday of each month, no matter the outcome.
Fuel remains one of the largest consumables in Australia and Metro Petroleum is the largest independently owned fuel company with over 500 stations across the country.
Metro Petroleum Punchbowl owner George Dib said the largest Australian independent petrol provider was excited for the opportunity to give back to its customers.
“Times are tough, there is no denying that,” he said.
“Wherever you look, it seems like consumers can’t get a break. In this environment, we are absolutely on board with this initiative by DCT Club to alleviate some of the cost stress in the community.
“While interest rates continue to rise, we are proud to be providing our customers with a chance to offset some of the rising costs.
“We’ll be ready for you all this Tuesday to mark the first event of this partnership with DCT Club. I’ll be there with my family and am looking forward to meeting many of you.”
DCT Club co-founder John Tsingolis said they were committed to enriching the lives of others.
“We’re very proud to have partnered with Metro Petroleum to allow Australians to feel a sense of relief around petrol prices,” he said.
