Dining Out

Fresh, authentic food to amaze

EXPANDING his foodie footprint in Lidcombe, I Love Manoush owner Tarek Hoblos is extending his premises to include the shop next door which will be called ‘El Biek’.

It’s being refitted to include a coffee shop, Lebanese street food, a restaurant out the back and a new menu offering dishes not available elsewhere in Australia.
“It will include all of the traditional Lebanese plates like shawarma as well as burgers, kebabs and rolls plus extremely rare to find dishes,” Tarek said.
Open daily from 5.30am to 11pm, I Love Manoush is a popular destination for early morning workers who drop by for breakfast, with many later returning for lunch and dinner.
With full Covid safety protocols in place, customer favourites include Manoush (a very similar bread base to pizza) with meat plus cheese, feta cheese plus veggies, Sujuk plus veggies and oregano plus cheese.
Tarek added that while they did really love their manoush, the menu also featured a range of other tasty options.
“We serve freshly made gourmet pizza, pides, oregano rolls and desserts,” he said.
“We have also added falafel, hommus and Fatteh to the menu which are all very popular.”
The kitchen team at I Love Manoush also cook up their own foul (ful), a traditional Arabic breakfast dish made with fava beans but which tastes good at any time.
“We offer meat-based, vegetarian and gluten-free choices that are made fresh for our loyal customers every day,” Tarek said.
