Workshop to aid self-care

NO ONE enters a relationship expecting it to be abusive.
Emotional and psychological abuse tends to develop subtly over time, slowly eroding the victim’s self-confidence.
Abuse only stops when it is understood and confronted.
The Together We Can (TWE) Foundation will be hosting a series of free workshops at Bankstown Sports Club to empower you with tools to face adversity with resilience and self-care.
“Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, identify their abilities, learn well and work well,” workshop organiser Nissy Aly, said.
“If you feel that you are not in control of your mental wellbeing or life, then this workshop will give you an insight on how to regain control.
“It’s crucial to our wellbeing that experiences in life are positive and this workshop will help you overcome challenges.”
The workshops will be held Tuesdays, 5.30-7pm, with all ages and backgrounds invited to attend (weekly attendance is not compulsory).
To confirm your attendance, contact Nissy on 0488 034 833 or Eddie on 0401 666 391.
