Free movie a nice way to enjoy great outdoors

GRAB a blanket, pack a picnic basket, and head out with the family for a free movie in the park.

Movies Under the Stars will include Spider-Man: Far from Home on Saturday, January 11, at Bill Delauney Reserve, Revesby Heights, 6-10pm and Toy Story 4 on Saturday, January 18, at Terry Lamb Complex, Chester Hill, 6-10pm.
Mayor Khal Asfour said Movies Under the Stars is the perfect way to enjoy a summer evening with family and friends in our City’s parks.
“These events are part of our commitment to making sure there are opportunities for our residents to enjoy the great outdoors in Canterbury-Bankstown,” he said.
Each evening has several complimentary children’s activities before each movie, including an acoustic performer, garden games, face painting and jumping castle.
The showing of Disney’s Aladdin which was scheduled for last Saturday at Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood, was postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions and smoke, and to ensure the health and wellbeing of attendees.
