Free Be Healthy & Active Program events on

THE award-winning Be Healthy & Active Program was developed in 2015 through a partnership with Bowls Australia and Bolton Clarke – one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit healthcare and independent living providers – to boost the lives of older Australians by improving health literacy.

Since its inception, the Be Healthy & Active program has delivered over 600 health sessions across the country reaching over 18,000 seniors and is on offer at Riverwood Library on Friday, August 2, and Bankstown Library on Wednesday, October 30, 10.30am-1pm, both days.
“Session topics include CPR and Defibrillation Basics, Falls Prevention, Healthy Bladder, Healthy Brain, Healthy Body, Healthy Eating, Healthy Skin, Master your Mind, First Aid for Seniors and Understanding Dementia,” a Bolton Clarke spokesperson said.
