Flexible learning spaces to set up boy for life

WITH enrolments booming, Birrong Boys High School has shown significant growth in academic achievement over the past few years.

Along with its three largest primary school partners – Birrong Public, Regent Park Public and Berala Public, the school also enjoys outstanding relationships with neighbouring schools in Bankstown and Auburn, including Auburn West Public, Chester Hill Public, Bankstown North Public and Yagoona Public who contribute significantly to the student body.
“Our enhanced transition and middle years strategies have had a positive impact on this crucial period of student life,” a spokesperson said.
“Our Year 7 students have benefited from a range of programs which have been successfully tailored to meet the learning, wellbeing and social needs that are particular to boys.
“We have also contributed significant resources to the development of a number of flexible learning spaces dedicated to our Year 7 cohort to set them up for success throughout high school.”
All members of the Birrong Boys High School community work collaboratively to focus on continual growth, with teachers understanding the learning needs of students and putting into place appropriate educational programs to ensure all students can achieve their academic potential.
Families are invited to the school’s ‘Open Evening’ in the school library on Thursday, March 11, 3.30-5.30pm.
