First sod turned to boost learning

CONSTRUCTION has begun on the multi-million dollar, new learning facilities at Picnic Point High, with the first sod being turned by Minister for Education, Sarah Mitchell, and State MP for East Hills, Wendy Lindsay.
The project will deliver four new flexible learning spaces and a new Technological and Applied Science (TAS) building, upgraded and expanded administration and staff facilities, and a range of external and landscape improvements. The TAS building will provide workshops and learning spaces, new visual arts workshop and learning spaces, and new music and computer spaces.
Ms Lindsay says the project is close to her heart as a former vice captain of the school and was thrilled to see this multi-million dollar investment into new learning facilities.
