She has now qualified for the State Championships and has her heart set on becoming Australia’s best.
Starting in athletics aged four in the Tiny Tots program, Maya is brimming with determination, with Mum Danielle saying: “Her passion, determination and love for athletics has been full on since the day she started. This opportunity has moulded her into a humble, respectful young woman and we are so proud of her achievements throughout the years.”
